NOVICE:
If you have little or no track experience, our Novice course will introduce you to the basic principles and techniques of high performance driving and teach you general circuit etiquette.
Course will cover:

•optimum driving position and posture

•racing lines
-
•braking and gear changing technique

•progressive throttle control
-
•basic theory of weight transfer and car ‘balance’

•understeer and oversteer
-
•basic car control, opposite lock etc.

•cadence braking
There is no fixed time-frame for the course but depending on your rate of progress, you can expect to need 3-5 days at this level before progressing to the Advanced course.
ADVANCED:
Having mastered the basic principles and techniques required on a racing circuit, it’s time to start working on your lap times and learn the subtleties of really high performance driving. Prepare to get more out of yourself and the car than you ever thought possible! If by then you’d like to go for your racing licence, we’ll walk you through the entire process - arrange the test for you and ensure that you arrive fully prepared.
Course will cover:

•‘Heel and Toe’ gear changing

•Power slides and drifting
-
•Specialist wet weather techniques

•Use of data logging
-
•Rotating the car around the apex
-
•Application and preparation for your ARDS license test
There is no fixed time-frame for this course but depending on your rate of progress, you can expect to need 3-5 days at this level before progressing to the Racer course.
RACER:
Whether you have never raced before and want to take your first steps into competition, or if you are a seasoned license holder and want to learn not just how to improve your results, but how to win, then our highly focused programmes will take you through every aspect of a successful racing driver’s armoury, including:

• practice and qualifying strategy

• nailing that ‘banzai’ qualifying lap

• race day planning

• racing starts
-
• race craft - not just how but when to overtake and defend

• tyre and engine management (if relevant)
There is no fixed time-frame for this course as is very dependent on your specific goals and experience.
